OUR STORY
MUSU AI began with a problem we could not stop seeing: private capital firms were adopting AI faster than they could control it.

MUSU is solving for the problem.
We founded MUSU AI Advisory with a deliberate order of operations:
-
Get the firm's data foundation right that is accurate, governed, traceable
-
Post data maturity, layer AI on top with controls that stand up to an LP's diligence or a regulator's exam.
Done in that order, AI stops being a risk to contain and becomes what it should have been from the start:
Your Judgement. Amplified.
The gap no one owned.
Governance, risk, and compliance functions were never designed for AI disruption. The technology had moved faster than the controls, and the controls are what LPs, auditors, and regulators examine.
Confidential information was leaking into public models. No one could explain how an AI-generated answer had been reached, or whether it drew on the right inputs.
AI arrived without controls.
AI entered private markets fast, with little oversight and adoption outpaced governance. Teams used public chatbots for sensitive documents, firms adopted disconnected tools without common standards and vendors repackaged old software as “AI” for diligence.
Individually it seems minor, but collectively, these choices created a serious risk: major decisions shaped by unvetted systems.
